A serious journal takes us seriously … well, sort of

Digital Signage Today picked up on a piece in the serious news junkie mag, The Economist.

Using the rather odd headline, How Not To Annoy Your Customers, the latest edition of the weekly magazine from the UK takes a fairly high level overview of what’s happening in our industry. The headline is odd because the annoying reference is just a passing remark about audio in PRN’s Wal-Mart TV deployments.

There is not much new in the piece if you’ve been forehead deep in this industry for a while, but if you’re new to it, or have a boss you’re trying to get interested, a piece in The Economist probably carries a little more weight than something in a local paper.
