Montreal conference tracking nicely, organizer says

I spoke with Denys Lavigne, who runs Montreal’s Arsenal Media and is behind the digital signage show set for there in a week and change.

Lavigne says he has roughly 70-75 attendees signed up and expects to cap out at somewhere south of 100. He baked in room for more, but is not really hoping for a crowd. What has pleased him more than anything, he says, is the quality of the people from across sectors who have signed on, as well as speakers he hopes will do a lot more than shamelessly pitch their products.
